Today is a bank holiday so we can't get into the uni to take any of our work to Piccadilly Place. We went anyway and had a discussion about the curation. We've decided on a vague idea of the layout, how to maximise the space but using all 4 corners, and decided that the beer table should be at the back of the room so the viewers have to come in to get a beer.
Tomorrow we meet at uni, collect a crate of beer from the Deaf Institute, take all of our work, the beer table, a step ladder, the 4 white walls in the university van, hopefully with some help from the house staff. Or at least with manual help from our friends.
Hopefully we can finalise the curation tomorrow and therefore finish and print the hand-out for the opening. If not, it's okay if we do it Wednesday afternoon. Also on Wednesday we can go to Aldi in town and buy a load of cheap beer. Niko went to check out the prices and the stubbies are £3.49 for 10 bottles. Georgie's going to see if she can get some wine from her work too.
